Define: Being The Only Child

Updated: Oct 1, 2019

What led amateurs to feel entitled to ask people, "Are they spoiled?", when and if a person says that they have no siblings? Is this like the common question; I never knew about until this day and time? Or is it something else??? What am I missing here? I'm not spoiled because I am the only child! Those of us who were not fortunate to have brothers and sisters are not all stuck up needy "prima donnas." Spoiled is what describes our high class society; with their expensive things, their maids, chauffeurs, caterers, servants, and their phony gold-digging entourage; pretending to be loyal best friends! Times were tough for me during my minor years. There used to be moments when my mother couldn't afford to buy new outfits. She would stitch old rags together; to make shirts and bottoms! Nothing was ever handed to me on a silver platter. I had to fight hard to claim anything in my name! Being the only child ain't easy; unless you came from a rich family or if not rich; then financially stable; but in other words; it is highly unlikely. No one can be spoiled unless someone spoiled them! So please stop asking me am I spoiled???

Are you so much of a "sorry" punk that it helps you feel like a big bad hero to speak for children and protect them whenever someone says...
